The bagel was ok. If someone offered me $100.00 I couldn't tell if the soupy chicken salad was tuna or Chicken. First time I needed a spoon to eat a sandwich. $12.00+

BREAKFAST ALL DAY The one thing I love about this franchise is that you can get the breakfast sandwich bagel all day long. And it is the best value for a sandwich at this and all other airports that have a Great American Bagel. Other Yelpers really seem to not like this location, based off of there reviews. I have never had any issues here at all. I typically walk in get an Asiago cheese bagel toasted with ham, egg and cheese. It's actually quite painless. Then about an hour later I open it on the plane and enjoy it. While the other passengers are eating there 10 dollar box of crackers. Don't do a walk by because it is located immediately on the left hand side past security. The security lines here are slow and take a while. You will need to gather your thoughts and belongings first, but remember you need a food plan. What more can I say about this location? It's located in the terminal but you can not access it unless you are flying that day. I have always found the staff to be fast and on top of there game. Maybe it's because I'm ready to roll with my order when they ask me for it. This place is not that complicated and requires no thought. Just imagine what you want on your sandwich and pick one of the many bagels they have. That seems easy enough...right!!! I think breakfast isn't just for breakfast anymore!

The multigrain bagels are good, but the chicken salad isn't great. In fact, it was kind of runny. The employees were friendly.

Bad bad bad... Only had a few minutes to grab food for my morning flight and ended up here... I ordered an everything bagel (sorry fellow passengers) with cream cheese before noticing that there were flies (plural... as in more than one... and more than two...) crawling all over the bagels in the case. "Oh well... I'll try to forget about that before I start eating it", I thought... Once in the air and starving I unwrapped what I hoped was my delicious (if offensively odored) treat and it was just gross... the outside was all moist and sticky... the inside was dense and dry... tasted like it was a couple of days old already. I should have known better than to buy a bagel in an airport in Florida... Do yourself a favor and find something else.

Was going thru the airport in Ft Myers, ordered a bagel and a pop on the run. The bagel was ok and hardly had anything in it ...a sunrise. The pop was $2.99. It was bad enough paying $4.99 with hardly anything on it; and then to pay or should I say be gouged out of $2.99 for a pop???

BAD. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese. It came non toasted with almost no cream cheese at all.

The staff is extremely poor at communication and unprofessional. I thought perhaps it was going to be good food because of the long line, it ends up that the line was long because they were incredibly inefficient. Oh, and overpriced. Fail.

The staff was friendly enough, but lacked knowledge of the products.. The prices are outrageous considering the service and quality. The set-up of the line is not only inconvenient but congested, which makes it a terrible place to patronize if you are elderly or bringing children along.

This is the best place to get breakfast at the Ft. Myers airport... but that's not a compliment. It's like saying 3pm is the best time of the day to get kicked in the crotch. Anyway, it's 8am and I've got an hour to kill before my flight leaves. Boredom and hunger take me the Great American Bagel. I stand in line and order the "Fort Myers Sunrise" which is a plain bagel with egg and a sausage patty. The egg on my breakfast bagel was so fake McDonalds would call bullshit on it. I have never seen that shade of yellow in nature. The sausage patty was greasy making the whole thing a multiple napkin necessity. I do have to give points for being airport food that didn't make me sick.

STUCK WITH THEM When you're at the Ft. Myers airport, you aren't given many options for eating. But we thought we couldn't go wrong with Great American Bagel. We were wrong. I don't know the last time I had service that was this unbelievably bad. There were a two people in front of me so I patiently waited my turn. I just wanted a couple of plain bagels for the flight to keep my kids from having the head spins. The people behind the counter slowly made those people's bagel sandwiches, took their money and then finally gave me my bagels. However, she then moved on to help people behind me without letting me pay. I said something and she gave me a snarky attitude. So I loudly said that I just wanted to pay for my bagels. My voice must have been audible around the corner because the manager comes out and asks me if he can help me. I say that I just want to pay for my bagels but am getting attitude from the employee. She storms off (yes, she actually walked into the back area) while he helped me. She should have been fired on the spot. But looking at other people's reviews I can see that all you'll get at this place is a serving of attitude. BTW -- After the incident, I had a person approach me stating he had actually gotten out of line because they were taking so long and that the girl who had "helped" me continued to snark off to people. What gives?

"We don't have any plain cream cheese" "Oh, okay. What kinds do you have?" "What?" "What kind of cream cheese do you have?" "Hunh- that doesn't make sense" "I was just wondering what kinds of cream cheese you have here?" "I don't understand the question" This was the most intelligent part of the conversation that followed during my ordering experience at Great American Bagel. In fact, I got similarly befuddled responses when asking about the bagel flavors available. I guess shit's confusing in the bagel game. Airport terminals are not what I would call an oasis of zen. You're either rushing because you're late, you're bored because you're early, you're stressed because you're delayed or you're starving because airlines now charge you your first born child for a bag of pretzels. So why make yourself even crazier by going to an establishment that's going to test your every ounce of patience. Insanely long wait times for no reason other than total incompetence and rudeness from the staff. I had to beg to get my order rung up by one of the 5 staffers behind the counter, 3 of whom were doing nothing but standing there. And because you're in an airport- you're paying twice the regular price at half the regular quality for bagels and sandwiches. Avoid at all costs.

I was about to order a favorite Starbucks breakfast sandwich, the one with egg and gouda, but anyone who knows me knows that I love a good bagel sandwich! I had never heard of Great American Bagel, and I though I probably wouldn't run into one again as I was on my way OUT of Florida, I decided to give it a shot. I ordered a standard breakfast sandwich on a cheddar & herb bun: egg, cheese, sausage. I happily paid (no complaints abou the service) and went on my way. At my gate I had some time to eat before boarding. I'm sure my fellow flight members got a kick out of my reaction as I opened the sandwich. It LOOKED disgusting! In fact, I didn't even try the sausage because I have never seen sausage like this before. Worse than McDonald's sausage. I'm actually not sure of what it could have been made of, but the color is in between glue and cement and its consistency was more like spam or something rather than sausage. Ick! I threw that out and said good riddance. Time to give the rest of the sandwich a shot! The bagel was undercooked and again, I hardly believed it was made out of what a bagel should be made out of. The made-up adjective "gluey" comes to mind. Not-yet-set glue. The egg couldn't have been egg. I trusted the cheese most of any of the ingredients, but I wasn't up for eating just partially melted cheese that morning, so I scrapped 75% of the sandwich despite my hunger. I just couldn't stomach it. I'm not sure where Great American Bagel gets their ingredients, but I couldn't trust it, and would never recommend this place to anyone. Just go to Starbucks directly across the hall!

SOO overpriced but one of only two eating options once you're in concourse D. Bagels all day, sandwiches, and paninis. [Not a lot of ] cream cheese bagel for $3.20. No a la carte- you're paying for egg, cheese, meat on a bagel ($5.20) even if you don't want one of them. At least the bagels taste ok. Panini ($9) tasty but thin. Cashier kind of gruff.

It was hard to tell the mushy bagel from the cream cheese. I had to call over the counter to get one of the otherwise-unoccupied employees' attention.

It's 6am at the airport. I'm tired and grumpy about leaving FL and heading back to cold, character building MN. The staff here are so darn pleasant that I can't help but be in a better mood. Oh and this toasted Asiago bagel and coffee are seeing me free. I might survive this day after all.

Arrive early to airport and get a coffee from outside security. Coffee at Great American Bagel tastes like it was brewed in a truck stop or church basement. Suspect Folgers may be a step up.

Horrible service, sad looking sandwich, will make note NOT to come back here when I'm at the airport.

I can't believe I have to give this place 1 star... This is the slowest Deli I have ever been to in my life. Sometimes delis can take a little while but at least they look busy. Not at Great American Bagel. Their staff was so incredibly slow I couldn't see straight! The two people making the sandwiches were slower than slow. The guy had a smirk on his face the entire time and kept asking people over and over again what they had and what they wanted on it; he did not listen at all. Then, the lady manager, just stood there with her arms crossed in the background and didn't even jump in to help them when the line was all the way to the security checkpoint! She just stood there! I can see now why the employees were so worthless because of management like that! If they want to succeed in business; then need to get her the he** out of there and get someone who cares about productivity!

In Terminal C of the Ft.Myers Airport. This is the best place for early morning flights, as evident by the line that spans into the terminal. Well, I guess, it's because it's the only place in the morning except for Starbucks which you pass right after Security. Plentiful selection of bagels. About 4 kinds of cream cheeses. You can also get deli sandwiches made (probably more for lunchtime). Coffee, milk, sodas, water. All for takeout. No tables or chairs. Pretty efficient service in the morning.
